Qrato ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered content recommendation application available on Android. We operate the app and its associated backend services. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at admin@qrato.net.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, camera data, microphone data, payment information, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.

We use Supabase as our backend database and authentication provider. Your account data, watchlist, and history are stored in Supabase. Data is hosted on AWS infrastructure.
API requests are routed through Cloudflare Workers and the app's landing page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP address, timestamp, request path) for security and performance purposes.
Authentication is handled via Google OAuth. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email, and profile picture with us. For Google's data practices, see Google's privacy policy.
The app may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers and usage data to serve contextual or interest-based ads in accordance with Google's advertising policies. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device's settings.
Qrato may show links to Wikipedia articles related to recommended titles. When you open one of those links, you leave Qrato and visit Wikipedia, which is operated by the Wikimedia Foundation and governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Qrato is not affiliated with the Wikimedia Foundation.
We retain your account data and watchlist for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
Guest data stored locally on your device (without an account) remains only on your device and is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.

Qrato is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at admin@qrato.net.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying affected users of any breach in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification). Your continued use of Qrato after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
